Helpful and really helpful staff, it was really great stay.
The room we booked was huge and elegant with nice view and bedrooms, for instance. Location: the hotel was very close to the train station and ortigia centre, Ortigia, Siracusa, right beside the Apollo temple ruins, and the centre of Siracusa.

I loved the cozy and charming atmosphere at Casa Verga. The decoration was beautiful with elegant furniture and tasteful artwork. The general areas were well-maintained and offered comfortable seating for relaxing and socializing. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility. There were no stairs to climb and the hallways were wide enough for me to navigate easily with my walker.
I would have preferred if the children working there had offered more assistance with carrying luggage.

The guestrooms at Casa Verga are incredibly comfortable with premium bedding and a variety of pillows to choose from. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! The free WiFi and air conditioning in the rooms were a huge plus. I could stay connected and keep cool during my stay. I absolutely loved having a balcony in my room. It was great to relax outside and take in the beautiful views of Syracuse. The addition of a microwave and stovetop in some rooms was convenient. I could prepare simple meals or heat up leftovers. The flat-screen TV in the room was a nice touch. I enjoyed watching my favorite shows and movies during my downtime.
While the presence of a stovetop was convenient for some, I personally prefer eating out and exploring local cuisine.

Exceptional: I enjoyed the free breakfast, helpful staff, and easy access to attractions. But who needs peace and quiet when you can have street noise at night? So relaxing!

The hotel had a charming and traditional decoration that made me feel like I was staying in a cozy Sicilian home. The general areas were well maintained and had a warm atmosphere. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with easy access to the rocky shores of Ortigia and a short walk to the historic sites. It was a comfortable and convenient stay.
I would have liked a more attentive staff. The children working there were helpful, but I wished they had been more proactive in providing information and assistance for senior guests.

The rooms at Casa Verga are incredibly comfortable, with premium bedding and a selection of pillows that made me feel like I was sleeping on a cloud.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the private bathrooms in the rooms. I would have preferred shared bathrooms for a more social atmosphere.

The B&B in Ortigia had such a lovely and cozy atmosphere, with beautiful decorations and a nostalgic ambiance. The common areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself. I especially enjoyed relaxing in the comfortable sitting area, surrounded by charming vintage decor. It made me feel right at home.
It would have been even better if the staff could provide more assistance specifically for senior guests. Perhaps some additional amenities or services catered towards our needs could be offered.
